The Manchester Road Race is an annual event that is held, in order to benefit Muscular Dystrophy research, along with several other local charities. The race is held on Thanksgiving Day, and is open to anyone who feels that they wish to participate. The race usually numbers around 9,000 participants, while it has peaked to over 11,000 some years. It is a great opportunity for local residents to come out, get in shape and support regional charities.
