In 2005, the population in the town of West Hartford was estimated at 61,173, a small city located in the Hartford County area. This is where West Hartford Reservoir is located. Prior to the year 1854 in which the town was incorporated, this town was a parish of Hartford. Its downtown area is termed as West Hartford Center and is an up market inner ring suburb of the Hartford town primarily. West Hartford is the downtown area of the town, centered on South / North Main Street and Farmington Avenue. Since the late seventeenth century, the community's hub has been the West Hartford Center. It has also been popularly rated as one of the greatest cities for settling families and in the next decade it is predicted to be one of the best cities. In America as of now it is termed as the 55^th best small city where the West Hartford Reservoir is located.

A nonprofit municipal corporation, the MDC or the Metropolitan District Corporation, owns the West Hartford Reservoir property which in 1929 was chartered by the Connecticut General Assembly. This was done to help provide sewer services and water services to the Hartford region. One of the coolest suburbs, the West Hartford Reservoir has become increasingly famous. South Windsor Pancake Breakfast

Santa Claus is going to be making a stop by at South Windsor's fire headquarters at 1175 Ellington Road to talk with children as well as help raise money for the neighborhood food bank. On Dec. 12 throughout the Democratic town committee's yearly Santa Pancake Breakfast, local and area residents are invited to come see Santa Claus and have a pancake breakfast that includes toppings, bacon, doughnuts, coffee and juice. A donation shall be collected and all proceeds is going to be given to the food bank.

The breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to noon.
